The author of this blog is Yousuf Sultan. He had graduated (finished Takmil – which is equivalent to Masters in Islamic Studies) from Jamiya Shariyyah Malibag, Dhaka. Next he studied a specialized course on ‘Islamic Jurisprudence’ (Ifta) from the same institution.
Currently, he teach in a specialized course of ‘Islamic Jurisprudence’ (Ifta) in Jamiatul As’ad Al-Islamia, Rampura, Dhaka. And he lead Juma prayers (as a Khatib) in Baitul Falah Jame Masjid, Malibag Railgate supermarket, Dhaka.
Besides that, his honorable colleagues and he runs Shabaka Soft Ltd, which is intended to provide quality softwares, web applications and websites for schools, universities, institutions, business corporations, personalities and organizations in Bangladesh and worldwide. Their goal is specially to digitalize the Islamic sectors in this country and worldwide.
The author had answered a number of queries in different blogs, forums and through emails. Sometimes it happened that he had to research the same thing again and search for the references.
So, he decided to make an archive of all his writings, speeches and favorite links, which will one day be a great resource for Bangladeshi Muslims all over the world.
The author had the same slogan in banners of his blogs in Prothom-Alo-Blog, Somewhereinblog.net and others. That is, “শান্তির খোঁজে” – “in search of peace..” Yes, he is always in search of peace. He likes peace, he loves peace. He believes that Islam is the only way to peace. As it shows us the most peaceful way in every aspect of our life.
He believes, if our society can use Islam’s morality and its teachings in every aspect of life, it will be the most peaceful society in this world. He believes that those who are causing terrorism in the name of Islam are truly brainwashed.
We want a peaceful society, not a terrorized one. And that’s the goal of this author’s life, yeah, searching for peace, teaching peace, loving peace.. May Allah guide us to this peaceful path, the Sirat-ul-Mustaqim. Aameen.
